Alternative Summer Break

Alternative Summer Break (ASuB) is a 10 day service trip in which participants travel to Quito and Yunguilla Ecuador.

This trip focuses on several social issues like education and sustainability.  Work with local families striving to preserve their environment, culture, and values while creating a sustainable livelihood. Learn to become a citizen of the world through strong direct service and reflection, and connect with other students who are looking to make a difference.

Students who are selected to serve on the trip participate in pre-trip meetings throughout academic year to help educate themselves on the language and culture of the community they will be serving.

This is a popular experience with limited space.
