Past Winners
The Civic Engagement Awards were presented for the first time in 2017 in the categories of RSO, Unit, Faculty, and Staff. In 2018, categories were added for Student and Community Partner. The Interdisciplinary Award was added in 2021.
Whereas all other awards come from campus- and community-wide nominations and are determined by an independent selection committee, the Friend of Civic Engagement Award was created in 2021 by Center for Civic Engagement staff to recognize those going above and beyond to help fulfill the Center's mission of advancing civic engagement at Illinois State University.
